Great welcome, friendly staff. Nice bar and restaurant with good food. Rooms were spacious and clean.
Restaurant service was slow during the first week of opening. Some bar staff seemed inexperienced and unable to operate the coffee machine.

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The location could not have been more helpful for exploring the beautiful Lake District on my motorbike. The staff were very attentive and made sure I had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The restaurant had a tastefully designed ambiance and served delicious food. The menu was extensive and the staff were friendly and attentive. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with a lovely view. I was pleasantly surprised to find two comfortable dog beds and treats for my furry friend. The hotel truly provided enhanced comfort and quality services.
I would have loved to book a room with an outward-facing window, but even without it, my stay was lovely and relaxing. Although it was a bit far out from Barrow Town Centre, it was still okay for me as I wasn't working there.
